Scaffold

Special provisions on the use of scaffold – Stability and durability calculations are carried out if the selected scaffold does not have stiffness and durability account, or if the existing schedules are not suitable for the structural modifications designed for the selected scaffold type, or if the scaffold is not generally constructed in accordance with the usual standard configurations. Skyscrapers cannot be used without these calculations.

-Plan to install, use and disassemble depending on the complexity of the selected scaffold; construction engineer, construction technician or high technician in building works; ship construction and dismantling works are carried out by shipbuilding engineer. This plan can be in the form of a standard form containing detailed information about the pier.

-Skidding of the carrier elements of the skeleton; by means of non-slip devices, or by other methods with the same effect, by fixing to a sufficiently stable carrier slip. It is ensured that the scaffolding is stable and balanced. Appropriate means are used to prevent accidental movement of wheelchairs during work at height.

-The size, shape and placement of the platform platforms must be such as to permit the proper and safe operation and transit to the characteristics of the work being carried out and the load carried. Scaffolding platforms are constructed in such a way that the elements will not move in normal use. There must be no dangerous gaps between the platform elements and the vertical guardrails that could cause falls.

-During installation, disassembly or modification, non-use parts of the scaffold are marked with general warning signs in accordance with the Safety and Health Signs Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 23/12/03 and numbered 25325, and entry to the dangerous area is physically prevented.
